So they partially refunded me to even out how much the lens should have cost given its true condition. So even though a minor mishap occurred, it was resolved smoothly and I still regard this seller as reliable as I’ve bought from them beforehand and they don’t usually have little mishaps like this.     Love Canon G Series

    This is the fourth camera I have owned in the G series. I started with the G2 and stepped through the 6 and 10. The flexibility of this camera rivals my 7d II without the bulk and intimidation factor. I love having this in my pocket when visiting kids. They will act up for the big camera but give you a much more natural result when you can be more discreet This is an ideal travel camera. You can set it on Auto and shoot away or take a minute to analyze the scene and use its advanced features. The results justify the price.

    Invest in a G16 instead of a G15

    I'm an amateur photographer but have had to extensively use a camera in my professional work for scientific applications. Thus I have considerable experience with cameras & photography. I own & use the Canon G12 (personal use) because I sometimes like an optical viewfinder and a tilting/rotating screen. I decided to purchase a used G15 to see if it were much different than both the Canon G12 and G16. The G15 for general use is too little different from the G12 (Note I didn't say much different in all features, etc, just typical use.), plus the screen is fixed, for my recommending its purchase. I already had a G16 & can now say with confidence that I'd suggest spending a little more money and buy the G16 instead of the G15.

    Canon G15 For casual photography

    I use Nikon D800 and Fuji mirrorless systems for the majority of my photography and needed something small but capable to take with me for just kicking around. I wanted something I could hand my wife or a friend without having to conduct an impromptu mini photography course. This little guy does the trick. The images are more than acceptable for social media and small prints and the camera is easy enough to for a novice. It affords plenty of control and is of high enough quality mechanically and optically to keep me happy. Great little camera within it's intended use!

    Top Quality Low Aperture Digital Camera

    The features of this inexpensive camera make it totally worth the money. The f stop of 1.8 is the strongest selling point, allowing the user to make full use of the natural light in the surroundings. This makes for great picture taking, even in back lit or low light situations. To get a better point and shoot camera, one must spend $700 or more. I have attached some photos.

    G15 is a jewel.

    The features can not be beat for the price. 1.8 5x lens. Raw available. Full manual operation, etc. A compact camera with a zooming optical viewfinder. Very good quality pictures. Hard to beat for the used price.
