Equipped with cool features like a super multi-layer coating to reduce flare and ghosting, and a hypersonic motor to ensure quick and quiet autofocusing, you are guaranteed high image quality with these lenses. The lenses also have a rounded seven-blade diaphragm for blurring areas out of focus. The Sigma DC 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 HSM DC OS lens also has auto zoom with an extended 13.9 range and a longer focal length of 18 to 250 millimeters. The lens aperture is F3.5-6.3, and the mini aperture is 22. The maximum magnification possible with the Sigma DC is 0.29x. The filter thread is 72 millimeters, which is ideal for filter users. Chromatic aberration is also reduced with the Sigma DC 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 HSM DC OS lLens for Canon. Weighing only 1.04 ounces, this digital camera lens is compact and very sturdy. A brass-made bayonet mount provides reinforcement and stability and the thermally stable composite material that it is built with minimizes the effect of temperature on the lens. There are three switches on the Sigma 18-250mm lens. The first one is a lock that prevents the lens barrel from accidentally extending and the second is to switch between auto-focus and manual focus. Both aperture and shutter speed are important pillars of photography. In manual focus, you can individually set both aperture (f3.5-6) and shutter speed. The third switch is to turn on and off the optical stabilization. Use optical stabilization when the lens is on a tripod.
