      Easy to Use and Definitely Workable!

      I'm an artist so I was looking for a quality brand fixatif to complete my graphite drawing project. This Krylon Workable Fixatif is exactly as described. I did use the entire can for 10 each 17" x 14" graphite drawings, but they turned out very well. I made sure to let the surface dry between the numerous coats, but it dries fast so it didn't take long. The fixatif does not change the color or wrinkle the quality paper and the graphite is in place with a clear matt top coat. I could also easily re-work any areas that needed to be adjusted without smearing. Great product - Would Recommend - (4-18-16 lgk)

      Pros and cons of fixatif

      For charcoal drawing fixatif is necessary, and this is one that sprays evenly and does the job - but it has a toxic chemical smell that lasts for a week or two. I spray my drawings outside and leave them out until I don't smell them anymore.

      Great Fixative Spray

      I have sprayed my pencil sketches with this spray with great results. Does not smudge and it is easy to make corrective sketching. Very pleased with purchase and would recommend to others.

      trying to get stuff to get paint to stick to soft plastic....

      Used as recommended.Did not work for this process to well- but would be fine for most other projects for a like primer procedure...

      Protect your work

      Does a good job of coating and protecting my pencil drawings. Right now I'm drawing with a very light touch. I can see how this will earn its keep as I gain confidence and start using heavier and darker leads. It leaves a gritty feeling behind, but the strokes don't smear.
