    Happy to have this unit playing my music...

    Easy to use. I am already familiar with this unit; I already own one of these and am happy with the performance. There is an EQ device Sony made for these systems available on EBay.... automatic EQ'ing.... I am not one to contend with manual audio configuration. I just want to plug and play my music.... I was happy to be able to find another one in such great condition.

    Old technology not enough power

    It was part of home thereafter in a box package. Just basic functionality not enough for today’s HD environment. I needed a cheap solution for a small home theater system using my Jamie speakers but even the highest volume don’t produce enough loudness for my 2.1 set up.
