At first it was choppy with the aperture but once I tightened the fit it began to work a lot better. The zoom in is incredible for the most part. If you're using manual on your camera the better and better if you focus by manual. It's very tricky, unless you're using a tripod, to zoom in on small subjects and to focus on them to get your detailed shots but other than that. Great piece to the collection.
