However the scanner did not power up like when I normally use it in other cars. Just by plugging and unplugging the cable to the car the check engine light turned off, don't know if it was a coincidence, still does not sound like its running 100% so I will have to jump terminals and count dash light flashes old school style instead of getting better info with the scanner. Cable was cheap though.
