        Great German engineering. You can't go wrong.

        I have been riding gator skins off and on for over 10 years. They are the defacto standard choice when you desire to minimize punctures. A good friend of mine did a US cross country on a touring bike and he used Gatorskins exclusively for that trek and continues to do so after the fact. In this instance I have purchased the 700x28 tire for my recently assembled e-bike's rear tire because it is now more difficult to remove the rear wheel on account of the electric hub motor. Yes, there is a slight penalty in rolling resistance but the benefit of puncture protection is well worth the trade-off. I would say that only Schwalbe makes a comparable tire. No surprise that these are both fine German manufacturers.

        A tire you can trust to carry you through

        I got these on recommendation of a cycling forum I frequent, because my old tires could not keep up with my disc brakes in a hard stop. While they are a bit of a harsher ride than the older tires, the grip is excellent! Perhaps a big reason for the harsher ride is that these are a 110psi tire where the older ones (at the same size) only took 80psi. German engineering for the win!

        Outperformed Every Other Brand I've Tried

        This tire has become my favorite go-to tire for my road bike. It has outperformed every other tire I've tried in every way: last longer, fewer (if any) flats and smooth but solid gripping tread. Like the folded model to be able to carry an extra tire with me while riding. Will keep using these and highly recommend!

        Great tires, tough to mount.

        Great set of tires - looks and feels durable. Measured a bit less than 28mm but could be due to my rim width....they are not as stretchy as other tires. So mounting them on your wheels takes considerable effort, you have to muscle your way through.

        Great ride

        They feel like high end car tires,stiff and they grab fantastically on turns. I haven’t ridden them in rain yet but my guess is they’ll be great in wet weather too. Great Quality. The minimal added weight versus a standard tire is barely noticeable. They take bumps better too
