        Great Sprinkler timer for areas not wired for central control.

        I previously had used the solar charged version of this product, but the sealed rechargeable batteries failed and the unit became useless. Admittedly it worked for over 3 years, but there’s no good reason to design it without making the rechargeable batteries replaceable. In all other respects, this unit (which uses replaceable batteries) is identical and I recommend it over the rechargeable solar charged version. Importantly both units are sturdy and capable of handling the 60 psi pressure supply of my irrigation system.

        Not cheap but quality. Runs on just 2 AA batteries.

        I don't like it, I LOVE it!!! I am using this to auto fill the pool. Works like a charm and easy to program. Everyday I fill it for 1 minute and the level is perfect now.

        Dependable controller

        We're using 8 DIG controllers over a large area that makes it impossible to use wired controllers. They have been very dependable and the only issue we have experienced is occasional corrosion build up on the battery terminals, which is an easy fix. They are durable, maintain time well, and are easy to set. We are very satisfied with the DIG 8000 and will continue to use them as we expand our irrigation needs.

        SIMPLAR TO PROGRAM WOULD BE NICE

        I had a battery sprinkler control valve prior to buying this one. It was so much easier to program. this one is so complicated. WOULD BE NICE IF IT WAS SIMPLAR TO PROGRAM
