But, electrically it worked fine. Since it also had VHF/UHF option, the value of my purchase was justified. To his credit, FedEx delivered it in two days, the fastest delivery I ever had from Japan. I'm a happy customer.

If you are thinking about buying something from this seller, expect something similar. Why he does this, I have no idea. Proceed at your own risk. He did come through for me. YMMV.
