        Compass was in good shape but not new as advertised. Tritium Old

        This order came fast and the compass was in good shape but I could tell it's not new as was advertised. The tritium was so old and dull it's not even usable at night, which was why I bought it in the first place. Will have to purchase another compass, and really just hate I wasted my money. I should've been put off by the price being so highly discounted. I just wish it wasn't advertised as new. The tritium is definitely not new and I just hope and pray I don't get stuck now in a night nav situation. I'll be screwed. Will update with photos when I can. Going to buy a new one somewhere else.

        The best, also heavy and expensive

        The Cammenga compass is the most durable version of the lensatic compass. It's the one the military uses. It's made of metal so it's heavier than the ones with the plastic bodies. It's also quite a bit more expensive, but has tritium on the dial which makes parts of it visible at night.
