    #D Model T kit

    I am a mechanical technician by trade and also a proficient surveying instrument repairman. This little puppy took me to and beyond my limits. It was my first metal 3D so I watched a couple utube videos, but I needed much more time than they did for the build. I did learn as I went, but prob should have bought 2 kits so that the #2 would not have all my booboos. Example: By the time I was ready to add the 4 wheels, I broke off the steering wheel and gas and brake pedals. I used some led activated CA to re-attach, but it shows. Put in one or two parts backwards so the nice detail was hidden. Putting the coach lamps together was wooza, but they happened. So I'd say this is for ages 16 or better with some good hand-eye-ear skills. The parts fit was amazingly good if you are a trial ...

    Excellent Metal Model Kits

    The Metal Earth kits are a lot of fun to build. However it should be noted that they do require specialized tools and a great deal of patience. There are many instructional videos to help you along. They are metal and made for display only and not for use as toys. I like building them and, if you have a lot of patience, so will you.

    Well-engineered model that will challenge your patience and skills. Better have good eyes to work up close and enough dexterity to manipulate small parts. Reasonable facsimile of the Ford Model T when you finish. Fun -- if you like the challenge.
