    Good quality helicoil kit at an excellent price

    So far I've used the 8mm and 12 mm helicoils with good results. The drill is of good quality as is the tap. The installation tool has a good handle with a backer that allows you to put a little pressure on the coil as it goes in and helps set the final height of the installed coil. The break off tool has worked perfectly each time I've used it. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

    You get what you pay for...

    Not a horrible product but the m8 1.25 drill bit was bent. There is no way a quality repair could be done with the bit supplied. I bought a new bit and all was well. The inserts aren't too bad and the taps seem to be of good quality but I've only used the one and that was on aluminum. I spent around $40 for my kit and to me it's worth the money since the taps and inserts are not cheap in my area. Check your kit over good before using it, the drill bits are probably worthless.

    Well, it doesn't come with the tool to run the rethreader, but, when you find something that will work for ya... It works just like you hope it does. It cuts threads nice and easy. It works on aluminium just fine...
