    Pro tool with pro features for pros

    Fieldpiece has done a fine job with this new generation of meters. Swivel clamp head, so I can hang it from odd angles. Magnetic strap, so I can hang in on a meter can furnace cabinet. Lighted dial, clamp, and LED. Every measurement I need to do A/C work. It's quite large, but that's a minor complaint.

    A professional tool for professionals!

    Been in the service industry one way or another since 2000, used every meter out there from craftsman to fluke. BY FAR!!!! Field piece has provided the BEST TOOLS for the hvac/appliance industries. Simple thing - adding a magnet that is built into the meter, why has no one else done it? The new leads are very reliable as well, great readout, very easy to read, I don't have a problem with vision but a few of my guys do and they love the blue light in the display. It's an all around perfect meter, accurate, long lasting, durable and obviously very reliable! Spend the money, it's worth it!

    Best HVAC Field Meter

    After two decades in the HVAC industry, I was looking for a meter that would take care of the many needs I encounter as a technician in the field. The SC640 had everything and then some. Small extras like the lighted head when opening the jaws of the amp meter. The lighted mode for dark areas make reading the display and selection of mode a joy instead of frustration. The dual display for reading volts with the leads and taking an amp reading simultaneously is extremely beneficial. A lot of thought was put into the versatility and packaging of the many functions a technician uses in a meter for many applications. The swivel head allows for easier use when reaching hard to reach wiring and still taking a measurement in tight spots. The in-rush function is a blessing when diagnosing a ...

    Better than I expected!!

    As with most things today, I expected this meter to be marginally fabricated with a great deal of planned obsolescent built into it. This was far from what I received. I was very surprised to find a well made and fully functional meter that is performing beyond my expectations. Good job Fieldpiece!!
