From the picture, you can see that they're all the same, so it's not a "kit". So, I can't complain at what I received. However, the bristles are a lot stiffer than I hoped for. They certainly wouldn't be useful for oil painting and probably not watercolor (no experience there), but I don't think they'll work for applying water-based urethane to wood either. Darn. But, I can't fault the seller.
