Additionally, I found out the seller was not an authorized dealer so I became skeptical. I explained the situation ans the seller was very understanding and professional. If I had purchased the 42mp. I probably would have kept the camera. I would rate the seller 100%

Sony boxes don't have any tape on them to validate any open boxes, I was not entirely sure if this was not an open box item, but after further examination I saw no scratches, all manuals in place and was able to register the camera on sony's warranty.
