    pleasantly surprised

    I purchased this plier set with reservations. I am a kid of the 70s&80s, I grew up with Stanley tools that were made in the US and Japan, quality tools. I was surprised to discover this set, although Chinese made, was of the same quality I have grown to expect from Stanley & surpassed my expectations.

    An upgrade for home use

    The Stanley pliers are decent quality and an excellent value. Around the house they are very handy and are up to the job. I do not know how they would hold up if used everyday on the job.
