I do wish an aftermarket company would make one out of steel. These spacers are like a carbon composite and wear out FAST, which in turn ruins the bearing in the idler pulley..Poor design, but cheaper than buying a new riding mower. Easy to replace. Nothing made today is built to last...

I contacted the seller and got a response asking if the package was damaged when it arrived. It was not damaged, so the seller checked his stock, but they were out, so he could not get another kit to me in a timely manner, so he gave me a full refund for the purchase. I think this shows mistakes can happen to anyone, but being a good business man he did the right thing,

I recommended that the dealer revise the description of the part to say that the NEW STIHL part does not have a spring in it.
