Helps with keeping him out the road and recall. Happy to see anyone and why he gets in trouble as well. Soon as he sees people, he loses all training. He starts jumping on people, even the elder and children. The shock is a last resort if beeping and vibration don't stop him. I love the built in protector rubber pieces and protects my dog from the medal prongs. Recommend for training and the stubborn
