Why 250# weight limit? Feels plenty strong at this "limit." Tested 1 day, before I cut them to my 41" preference (except wasn't tested as a self-defence device, fortunately, but don't anticipate any weakness on the cane's part - but I, of course, don't come with as good a guarantee as this cane).
