    Film photography re visited

    First of all this is PRE Ai, not AI therefore NOT suitable for new DSLR Nikons, it will damage the mount, and is to be used with cameras such as the Nikkormat FTN or FT2 and all similar ones that take PRE Ai lenses. I will simply say, it is a shame new Nikkor lenses are not made to this quality, I HAVE (being a pro photographer) the newest best Nikkor glass, but this is such a pleasure to use. If you want one then there are many Ai versions available for newer cameras, I just wanted a Pre Ai version Get one, they are a bargain. BUT look for one from japan in GOOD condition, look at it, look at the images, make sure it has no haze, fungus etc. You will love it

    a good bargain

    I bought this lens, an tilt shift adapter for Nikon to Olympus, and a refurbished OMD M-5 to take picture of oil paintings. So far so good. A Nikon tilt shift lens costs way more.
