    Solid, Well Built Extension Cabinet

    This is a great extension cab that's about half the price of other 1x12 cabinets. I've been using Peavey since the mid 80's and have always been happy. The speaker isn't a Blue Marvel. It's unmarked and unbranded. Only 4 stars for the false advertising. I bought it with the intention of swapping speakers anyway. I put in an Eminence Private Jack and this thing roars now. I'm playing through an Orange Micro Terror and I've got all the classic British tone I want. Lots of round bottom end and mids with highs that aren't shrill or piercing. Satisfied with my simple bedroom setup.

    Good cabinet, average, unbranded speaker inside, but an overall good deal

    This is the best 12" cabinet you can buy at this price range. It's well built, looks good and sounds ok, but the first thing I did after playing it a couple of times is change the speaker to get the sound I was looking for. This cabinet comes with an un-branded, completely un-marked 12" speaker. It isn't marked as a Blue Marvel speaker as advertised. I suspected that would be the case when I bought it. The cabinet alone is worth the price, so that's why i bought it.

    Good value .

    I bought this. With the intention of using it practice cabinet for low volume playing in my living room . I’ve since added it to my full se up . I ve paired it with a fender super champ head . Seems like a decent pairing . The blue marvel speaker is ok . I’m used to Celestion 70/80 in a 4x12 stack , so I’m not sure I it’s a fair comparison . But for $129 . You can’t go wrong .

    Great deal on an extension speaker

    Great looking little cabinet. Hooked it up to my little Fender Frontman 25 and it ROCKED. Sounded excellent. I did not get into the details on if it really is a Blue Marvel speaker , which is probably better as I was not influenced. This is a great deal for a great sounding speaker cabinet.

    Nice cab!

    I realize some people complain about the Blue Marvel speaker it comes with, but it really sounds great with the cabinet. I play mostly small clubs, I use 2 of these with a Peavey head and works great. Tough, great value and does the job perfectly. Zero complaints. It's a Peavey. Good enough for me. There are better ones out there, but the differences are negligible. I'd be hard pressed to find someone in the audience who would say "but it's not loaded with a higher priced driver". That pretty much never happens in that environment. The amp produces some great sounds and this cabinet accurately does it's job. Why pay the extra $100 bucks for what only gear snobs say is better. You won't hear much difference and this thing simply rocks!
