The three-point hitch was very well made, with good welds and just an overall feeling of durability. The rake itself was just okay. I was expecting the tines to be made of spring steel, but it was just ordinary steel bent into shape. The problem with this is that the tines bent up quite a bit during 6 hours of use raking rocks, and we had to bend them back into place by hand. Spring steel would have just sprung back into place. If you only need this for light use, it might be okay.

Works as it should
A lot of "bolt holes do not align" They worked just fine for me. Do not tighten a single one, until all 30+ are in place. Use just enough turns to keep from falling off and you should be fine. Yes paint was chipped in shipping, it a farm implement...you are going to chip the paint anyway. It is a little light and will eventually ride up and over what ever you are "raking" Tines are on the short side, if you are raking, straw, hay or leaves, the rake will load up and eventually lift up and quit "raking" For the price, the rake does well, no complaints. Good rake for the money but more suited to light duty work
For the price point, it's great. I added 70 lbs of weight to keep it down on heavier piles I was raking. The more expensive rakes have longer tines with more of a curve and more spring action. That being said, the work I am doing is light duty and this rake gets the job done for half the $ of it's competitors.

Some of the pieces had rough edges and the hole for one of the pins on one of the arms was off center and didn't line up. Also there was a fair amount of scratches and larger areas where the paint was scraped off. I ended up grinding down the rough areas and sharp edges, sanding the pieces, priming the bare metal, filling in the off center hole and redrilling and repainting the entire frame. The end product is solid and functions well but it took some paint and my time to get it to that point.Some of the pieces had rough edges and the hole for one of the pins on one of the arms was off center and didn't line up. Assembled in a half an hour. Good value for the money. Not a heavy enough for commercial use in my opinion but for occasional use around my rural residential property I think it will do just fine. Heavier duty units at the tractor stores in my area are twice the price.
