You will need the curved face bushings from the original brakes if you want to use these on an old steel frame. I had to drill out the bushings on the fastener side to the 8 mm O.D. of the fasteners, and used the medium length of the 3 the brake set came with on the front, and had to shorten the longest about 4 mm to use on the rear so it would not bottom out on the brake bridge. That’s a 700 x 38 tire on the rear of a formerly 27 inch wheel equipped frame.
