Then I went mowing and WOW what a difference!! No more bone-jarring bouncing and banging around, this base provided a smooth ride for the 3 hours that I have to mow every week. Like many other comments here I, too, should have done this 15 years ago. It does sit you a couple of inches higher in the seat but it's not awkward or uncomfortable. Great deal for the price!

I did have to drill new holes so it would line up. Feels comfortable so far, may purchase another if this works good after several uses. Only suggestion would be to include a safety switch extension wire as this makes the seat taller and the factory wire will not reach anymore.
