Krokus scored their first (and only) American platinum success with 1983's HEADHUNTER, which includes the frenetic title track, the power ballad "Screaming in the Night" and their biggest hit - a reworking of Bachman Turner Overdrive's "Stayed Awake All Night". Mid-Tempo rockers like "Eat the Rich" and "Russian Winter" also became fan favorites.

    Solid effort from a somewhat overlooked band

    Krokus never quite attained the status of Mötley Crüe, Ratt, or Twisted Sister among hard rock bands that hit it big in the '80s, but it wasn't for lack of talent. This album contains their biggest U.S. hits. One is left to wonder, after listening to this CD, how huge this band might have become if they'd been on a label with more expertise at promoting heavy metal acts (as they were considered to be at the time). Recommended!
