That should be enough to keep the battery from going dead during long periods of non-use, without overcharging the battery. At the end of the first day of use, my battery was up from a low of 12.2 volts to 12.8 volts -about where I want it. Time will tell how well it works in prolonging battery life. Delivery was happily two days early.

This vehicle does not get a lot of service and keeping the battery up is a hassle without some maintenance. Thanks for a very nice unit.

Red led on cigarette lighter connector lights from car battery power so does not indicate that solar cell is working. Solar cell works. Delivery was reasonably fast. Came from Ontario to US.
