    Listing showed original box & described as box only opened to photograph. The original box was NOT included, as suggested by the listing photo. Just arrived, unprotected, in a manila cutout inside an envelope. Now I have to find a way to store/protect it until I get around to doing the work. Deceptive seller!

The box was not included, is also correct and if you read the condition description, you will also see that the item may be shipped without the box to save shipping costs. Which is what we did. Our responsibility is not to afford you a means to store your purchase until you have time to do the repair. We have been selling on ebay this part for 24 years and you are the 1st person to question shipping.
