Not a scratch, ding, dent, or defect anywhere and the electronics cover still had the protective plastic on it. Price was great as well!     Worth the wait

    I started playing bass in 1992 and graduated into 5 and 6 string basses several years later. In 2001, I acquired a new BB East, Series I bass. 18 years, 26 states, and 1,200+ shows later and I’ve only had to install batteries and strings. I purchased the JP2 as it was made in the same shop using the same incredible attention to detail as my BB East. On to the review. Playability: The 19 mm bridge spacing is wider than most 6s which are 18 mm so that takes a little getting used to. The 40” radius fingerboard is nearly flat which makes all the width easy to manage. The 26 frets, while unique, reduces the room for popping a bit. The lower cutaway, while excellent compared to many basses, only really makes 24 frets very accessible unless you angle the neck up quite a bit or bring your thumb ...
