      Perfect Greek Yogurt

      I make my own yogurt and used cheese cloth until I purchased this container. The cheesecloth was quite messy. The weave would shred and it was never large enough to accommodate 1/2 gallon of milks worth of yogurt without leaking from the openings. With the Euro Cuisine I just pour it in, put the lid on and stick it in the fridge. I like a thick Greek yogurt so I let it sit for about a day and a half. I wipe the moisture off the lid, put it over the strainer and flip it over. It's beautiful and thick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to make a Greek style yogurt. The only thing I would mention on the down side is that it does take up space in the refrigerator. It's not a small container.       Needs better design

      Strainer needs to be more cone shaped for gravity to help drain faster. Flat bottom makes for VERY, VERY slow straining. Went back to cheesecloth and a bowl. If they fixed the basket, would be an amazing product. Plus, if they made a bigger one to handle a gallon of yogurt at a time.

      EASY TO USE

      First time using it last night. Just ploppe the yogurt from the Instant Pot insert into the strainer and put in frig overnight. It was nice to be able to cover it. No mess like before with yogurt running over sides of the strainer and cheesecloth. Because the mesh is so fine, the yogurt turned out more condensed. It was really good. It was my best batch of yogurt because of this strainer. And for cleaning I just rinsed it gently with dish soap and it just came clean very easily. No problem getting it clean. Im very pleased with the product!

      Awesome to make Greek soy yogurt!

      I make soy yogurt using my Instant Pot and I discovered that putting my finished batch into this strainer allows the yogurt to transform into a whip cream-like consistency -- absolutely the best stuff I've ever tasted! Best of all, the soy whey can be used to make the next batch, and we also drink it, since it contains all the beneficial, live properties of the yogurt. Very happy I found this strainer.

      Regular yogurt to Greek—Oh, Yeah!

      Just started making my own yogurt in my InstantPot and bought this to turn regular yogurt into Greek. Amazing! I couldn’t believe how much whey drains into the container. Easy to use. Just handle the mesh area carefully, but it is easy to wash the whole thing. I would say this is a must have. Can strain store bought yogurt or homemade.
