      I received the bass very quickly & it was packaged very securely. The strings were left untuned for shipping which is normal. Unfortunately when I went to tune the bass the top string broke at the tuning post. I was using a reliable tuner so not sure why it broke. I messaged the seller & they responded quickly. They worked with me on price so I could buy a set of replacement strings. The neck and headstock are solid wood but the body is laminated, looks good & seems well made. Good for the $.
