    Great competition thrower

    Great axe for competition throwing. Good balance and weight. Blade came super sharp and ready to use. Keep in mind the blade edge is very thin and easy to bend or chip if hitting a hard surface (concrete floor, screws in wood)

    Just what I was looking for

    I bought them to use for my double throwing. Did have to put a sharper edge on them. I used a Accu knife sharpener. Couple of passes on both axes and they would stick deep full blade. Modified handles for my hands. Used them for the first time the other night and I threw a 87. Highly recommended

    Made specifically for throwing - good for armatures and competitors.

    This is a very high quality, throwing axe with a nearly indestructible oak handle. I've used several 'throwing hawks' with plastic handles and they all soon broke. The axe head is heavy, so it penetrates and sticks well, but the down side is that it chews through wooden targets pretty fast.

    Good value, good for practice, I use a more expensive axe for events

    Good balance, not too heavy, blade holds up with hard use. Handle is long enough too cut to your own liking. Most axes have to be adjusted to one's own throwing style, I just had to cut a few inches off the handle to throw at the 12 foot line.

    Great thrower!

    I started off w some Nedfoss throwers but they didn’t like to be thrown from the 12’ mark. This one strikes perfectly from 12’. It instantly improved my throws.
