      Parts camera fixed my camera well !

      This camera I purchased is for parts only. The price is great and I was able to take the front and rear covers and place them on my working camera. When I purchased my camera new, I did not open the battery door properly and broke it. This parts camera allowed me to get another battery door that properly holds the batteries in place now. I had tried to use special paper clips bent to hold the old door closed and put holes in the covers in doing so. The covers make this camera work and look great again !

      Nice camera

      Camera is inexpensive and simple to use, uses regular AA batteries, can use older SD cards. One thing I noticed, the video playback does not have rewind nor fast forward on the camera (the only negative thing).Overall it's a great camera, especially not having to buy expensive rechargeable batteries that are only for Canon, Nikon cameras. Also, another great feature about camera: you can disable the flash so that when you put the camera on to take a picture the flash stays disabled. You can put the flash on at anytime, I dislike using the flash & cameras that have the flash option on when you put the camera on, then delaying taking the picture trying to disable the flash. That's another reason this Canon PowerShot 1100a is for me!

      Great Camera but get a warranty just in case

      This is by far the best digital camera I have ever owned. I bought it to replace one that had broken, and got a 2 year warranty on this one. It takes AA batteries, so I can buy rechargables but also keep 2 rechargables in my purse or my glove box, so that if I'm out and about and the batteries die, I can just swap them out! It has a standard SD card slot, so you don't have to buy a specific brand of anything. No worries about losing a charger, or anything like that! I've had about 5 digital cameras in the last 3 years and this is the best - others will get poor image quality when you zoom but not this one! It also has a video camera built in as well (some don't). I REALLY recommend this particular camera. The only thing I've noticed is that sometimes the lens malfunctions which causes ...

      Great replacement for my old power shot

      My old Canon Power Shot died after I left it sitting in a puddle (it's a long story). I wanted a similar camera to replace it and this newer model is perfect. It does everything the old one did plus it uses regular AA batteries which allows me to use rechargeables when I can but also to use single use batteries on long backpacking trips (which is very convenient). I am not a "photographer" - more of a point a shoot picture taker - but this camera is perfect for me - it does everything I need and more.

      Canon Camera Review

      LOVE this camera. Bought my first one about 8 years ago. Especially important is the viewfinder which is not found on many point-and-shoot cameras. It's great when taking photos in the sun - you can see what you're photographing as opposed to trying to see something in the screen. Unfortunately I dropped it last year and broke the door to the battery/SD compartment. So when this camera became available on Ebay, I was absolutely delighted. It takes GREAT photos as well as wonderful videos (the video sound is excellent). And the zoom feature produces very sharp and detailed photos. Can't rave enough about this Canon camera.
