    Superlatives in Every category: What a Delight!

    There are no cons, except perhaps the limits of my ability to make the most of this instrument just yet. This D-28 is in virtually flawless condition, and as such my reticence to put the first mark on the guitar is an impediment to my playing the guitar every day. Because I have other guitars I can practice on them and reserve the Martin for performing. That said, any guitar's sound quality is affected by the amount it is played, so I'm looking forward to moving into playing this Martin more and more as my practice gives me better musicianship. That is the reason I purchased this guitar: to challenge myself, and to bring my playing up to the next level and I can see that is already happening.     Perfection!

    No surprise, this sounds beautiful. I have played a Gibson jumbo for 20+ years but I was developing shoulder pain unless I stood to play and that gets old. Now I have a very different sound but just as beautiful (maybe better?) and I can sit and play without shoulder pain. Love it!
