      Metal Handle Good, HORRIBLY Bad quality Cable

      Handle is good metal material but the cable that's with it is absolutely garbage. the cable wires were already untwisting and sticking out of cable from the package. it fell apart within a day, completely unusable. had to order good cable from a much better seller that guarantees their cable.

      Perfect!

      This was exactly what we needed to fix our couch, and it works perfectly! So glad to know we can continue to enjoy the reclining feature on our furniture. We actually had both sides break within a couple of weeks of each other so i just reordered the same thing.

      Swap plastic for metal, durability for a reasonable price.

      The furniture that I purchased had plastic as the pull handle device. I predicted that this would be the first to go. In my case all the reclining mechanisms were the same length, so I purchased enough to replace them all after two failed at the same time. I replaced six in all and took about two hours to complete from start to finish. To do it all with the least amount of work, attach some kind of string or fishing line through as you remove them then pull the new one through. Otherwise you’ll have to unstaplee some of the cloth/leather/Naugahyde and staple back into place. The result was good, and I know the metal release handle(s) and New cable will last. Note: others stated they had to cut out the holes, but I doubt that as mine, though snug was a perfect replacement part visually and ...

      Better than original

      I had an older "experienced" leather recliner that had this type of handle on the side. It was made of plastic and eventually broke. I fixed it for awhile but finally it died. I decided to go out looking for a new recliner and couldn't find one that worked as well. At one location I saw a handle like mine and the owner said that they could be ordered and gave me the name. I came home and found the handle online for a very reasonable price. When it arrived I was very pleased that it was METAL rather than plastic. I installed it in 10 minutes and my fantastic, comfortable, experienced recliner is as good as new! Thanks FOLAI!
