Manufacturing and technology have come a long way. I wanted to test these out as I normally spend $2k on new tires and I am sure you can imagine how crappy that feels/is to do. I have an x5m (true M series) and the Achilles Desert Hawk tires were installed 3 weeks ago. I have already drove through a snow storm in the states of Wyoming and Colorado (you can check weather history to see that we already have had snow). I had no issues in the snow and was able to change lanes with confidence. In dry weather they ride smooth and almost no road noise is audible. I will continue to purchase these in place of the "top of the line" tires I was using. Manufacturing and technology have come a long way. Achilles tires
My tires arrived out of round. The installer told me that it is most likely the result of a bad tire mold. It appears this is common in inexpensive tires made overseas. I have had all four tires balanced twice and I still have a vibration in the steering wheel. I would look past the low price and look elsewhere. Even if you can get a refund or exchange the hassle of this process is not worth it. I would not buy tires online ever again.My tires arrived out of round. I was a little skeptical about the Brand but after I received all four tires and installed them and put a few hundred miles on them I knew I made the right choice. I would recommend to anyone looking at this size tire and application for a SUV or Light truck with 22 inch rims not to hesitate to buy this Tire. Replaces stock size from oem manufacturer with better ride and quieter at higher speeds . Handles the turns excellent ! BMW tires have always been very expensive one thing that a lot people don’t understand about product quality is that all manufacturers need to meet and exceed certain set forth standard to sell their tires in the market and that threshold is more than enough to give you amazing tire life and honestly speaking don’t believe in phony marketing to shell out 4 times of the price of the tire just because the paid reviews were great ! Here is my math and why I recommend this , look at what I paid for it , a tire protection service alone on name brands can cost you that much and let alone the people who will put them on , remember you car if it’s brand new you shouldn’t be needing the tires and if I am correct and it’s way pass it’s new life then you won’t feel any difference either with ... Less than half the price of Pirelli pzero 106y
The last set of pirelli tires on my 2SS cost over $1300 2 years ago. I wasn't even planning taking a chance with tires for this price. But i started reading the reviews and they were better than pirelli. Some of the reviews were like year 4 and still great! Who doesn't want to save some cash and get a better product at the same time!
