      Thumbs down, a worthwhile uprade !!!

      This piece is superb !!! Highest quality and appearing factory original. The 'photo' item spring is not the same as what came in post. What came is the actual replacement part. It has a small coil like spring at the end instead of the 'paper clip' looking spring wire in the photo. Takes 2-4 minutes to change out. Check out the youtube video that 'does not' pound out the pin. The video shows how to relax the spring then the pin can simply and gently be 'pushed' out for the change over. That extra millimeter or two of 'thumb catch' makes a great difference for slide lock operation. A great piece.

      Would not buy again.

      Metal seems to be a lower grade (thinner) than OEM part. Spring is not as strong and is missing interior buffer (? black rubber rod). Good design, looks like OEM but "bent" to allow better thumb grip to push up/down. Installed and tested with 50 rounds, worked fine. Probably ok for range and matches, but worry about different quality & spring. Wouldn't use on CC without much more testing.

      An Absolutely Necessary Addition to your Glock 43

      I do not understand why Glock does not have this as a standard part of the firearm, but I can tell you it is Absolutely Necessary if you want full control of the weapon. And the Vickers Tactical Slide Stop is Easy to install. I gave it to my wife to install, she hates semi-autos, but I figured if she screwed up, I could blame her! LOL. She put it on the gun in about 10 minutes, using a YouTube video specific to the task. So, if you have this firearm, YOU need this part. The difference between having and not having this on the weapon is immediately apparent. And it is a great price too!

      Couldn't be happier

      I'm not sure why Glock doesn't make their slide stops like this - they're missing the boat. This is a great product. I've got them my Glocks and when my friends have tried it they've asked I install them on theirs. My only wish would be that is came in stainless steel as I live at the coast. If you have small hands or a wart on your thumb like me (right there) this will really help.
