    Excellent product

    I made two molds with the 1/2 gallon kit (my second and third molds to ever create). The detail in each is crisp. Don't be afraid to try it out. Mixing doesn't have to be absolutely precise, in fact a bit more of one or the other will change how flexible the mold is. Just be sure all seams are sealed (tape, clay, etc) and when pouring the compound, your base is perfectly level. Wait 16 hours and go to town casting parts. I used plaster of paris and they look great.

    Good Stuff

    I go through gallons (so far, about 20) of this silicone. It's dependable and solid, easy to mix, etc. And it's cheaper than some of the comparables. I rate it as "entertaining" because (even though it's a silly question) I do make a lot of fun things using the silicone as part of my process. Mostly I make soap molds from found objects. This stuff is great for that.
