Bought the memory foam mattress as I don't intend changing the bed anytime soon and it is so comfortable. Apart from putting the slats in (which we ended up cross-tying in) the bed is sturdy and looks sturdy. First time in 20+ years of sleeping in a double bed and so now need more pillows but I would buy again.
