    The item came in its original Mercedes box but had been previously opened. Examination revealed that it had been broken at some point and a repair had been tried but failed. I informed the seller who offered me a 50% reduction. When I said that, in its damaged state, it wouldn't work where it was intended to be fitted in the car, he immediately credited me with the full purchase price.
