I do not overload it. If the clothes are not freely moving I remove one until it does. Less wear and tear on the motor. I do give it a rest after 3 loads. Give the motor time to cool down. I wash 2 loads then rinse 2 loads to save water. My clothes are coming out cleaner than they do at the community laundry at my elderly complex. Love it!!
