    everything seems as described. I've used the fork with 32mm tires, through rough, broken, pitch, and it's holding up well. The crown race from my old fork, could not fit at all on this one, so i ordered a new headset. Hopefully i can update this.

    Rigid fork feels rigid, but, has some flex

    The steel, lower race, from the old fork, couldn't fit on this fork. For whatever reason, the last 1/2 inch of the steerer tube, was made a little thicker. Because the old headset was OLD, I bought a new, FST headset, and the lower race still couldn't fit on the fork, so, I had to file and sand the 1/2inch band, till the race fit. That shouldn't be necessary. Otherwise, the rigid fork definitely feels harsh, compared to a 2007 Rockshok Reba. In general, cycling in rocky ,or rough conditions, is harder on the wrists but, there is some forward and backward flexibility, that helps at medium to higher speeds. At lower speeds, the flex is limited so doesn't add to comfort much. Getting a pinch flat is definitely more likely with this fork compared to a suspension fork. Light weight is ...
