    ZM-86 2.4 GHz in my HP Pavillion TX2500

    This chip was used to replace the 2.1GHz chip in my HP TX2500 to increase itts speed it was a good choice. However the insulation under the keyboard must be carefully fitted when re-assembling. If this insulation is not in place the upper memory will not work and the computer will not start if this memory slot is used. In fact it carries on as if it has a GPU problem.

    good top of the range processor

    It's a good s1g2 socket cpu since it's the fastest available cpu for this socket and it really does make a difference from a 2.0ghz single core sempron cpu to this dual core one, good for gaming as well, giving an old laptop something to keep it going along with the new ones rather than making it obsolete
