Fortunately I can machine a groove under the existing groove and put an o-ring at the base to finish it out.

Second thing: the Cragar center caps don't fit Cragar wheels, as stated on the Cragar website. This is Cragar's problem, NOT the seller's problem. The information on the Cragar website is incorrect.
