Changed old thermostat to this one 2 days ago and discovered the thermostat is stuck open, hence the reason my vehicle will not get up to operating temperature. My vehicle threw OBD2 code P0128 "Engine Coolant Temperature Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature." I now have to buy another thermostat and more antifreeze. Very disappointing. I now suspect this thermostat is not genuine at all but cheap Chinese garbage.
