    Do not hesitate to call Leviton Support

    First Fan Controller one out of box failed. It was capable of setting the fan speed once, but as soon as the fan started spinning it would blink furiously and be unresponsive. I could kick the airgap and try again with another speed ... once again and lock up again. Leviton support was extremely helpful and professional, and on this note Fedex'd a replacement in short order and made me whole again. The replacement worked like a charm, and obviously compatible since the fan silently, and without any bruhaha, obeys the commands from Google Home "Set fan to Low/Medium/Hi/Max". Perfect.

    Good option

    This switch replaced a dumb switch supplied with our Minke-aire Roto fan. It installs easily (you need a neutral) and I believe it will work with a single pole or 3 way setup. It provides 4 speeds and small lights show when you adjust it. Beyond that, it looks like a Decora dimmer. for fan only, no light control. And it will work with AC fans but not DC. Connects easily to Alexa without a bridge.
