Both have the same reel (Shimano FX2000) and are spooled with the same amount of the same line. This will let me test the different feel of each Power Rating. I think that this will turn out to be a very good rod for the price.

This rod casts and throws lures like a dream. I love the action and it handles beautifully. I’m new to fishing but for $30 less, it puts my other rod to shame. I’ll absolutely pick up a longer one for my heavy setup.
