    lightweight tack sharp

    these D series lenses are a bargain and out perform new ED series nikkor glass. they hold a focus better and are faster to focus. they are less prone to breaking down issues. i've been a pro who uses nikon for over 13 years. believe dat.

    Great indoor flash photography lens

    This lens is a compact beauty. Just a little bigger than the Nikkor-AF 35-70mm with the same aperture range and smaller than the 28-85mm lens, the 24mm wide-end of the zoom range is perfect for indoor group photography. This lens paired with the Nikon Speedlite SB-27 is a combo which is hard to beat. The auto zoom head of the SB-27 matches the range of the lens 24-50mm, perfect. The "D" version of the lens which I have, has the communicates the distance to the flash to help make perfect flash photography. This lens is definitely one to look at for those parties and get-togethers indoors.
