    Does great with training my bloodhound, the vibration feature and high pitch sounds works great. I have never had to use the shock feature to get my dogs attention. So love it great training collar

    A good design but has flaw

    Has great design I like the features and the operation of the remote. It does not reach any where close to 1000 yds though my dog was roughly 150 yds from me in plan sight and it wouldn't connect consistently anything over that and it would lose connection all together. Also the remote has been entering menu mode sparatically. This has happened a couple of times during training. Overall if you will be using in an area with 100 yds range or less it will work great if you are planning on training a dog in a large open area or somewhere there is a lot of objects blocking straight line of sight spend more money on a good system before you waste it on this.

    Does the Job, Dog Able to Remove and Destroy

    The collar did what it was supposed to do. However, my beagle was able to remove the collar due to its design of clipping together instead of the traditional "pin-in-a-hole" method of fastening a collar. She would scratch at the collar with her hind leg and I'm pretty sure this is how she was able to remove it. We only had the collar on her for short periods and were certain it was securely fastened. I'm going to try to fix the damage as best I can and remount it on a traditional collar this time. If not for her ability to remove the collar, I would have given it 5 stars! Delivery was quick as well.

    Controll your dog!

    This will help teach your dog good behaviors. Only use as a stimuli, NOT a punitive tool. We rescued a 4-time returned dog, 95 lb, 18 month yellow lab. His behavior was absolutely unruly. Having bounced around so much he just never had a chance to understand the right behavior to be a good dog. At the end of my rope (which was long) I said either he goes back or we try a shock collar. To this day I tell my friends and family that the training collar absolutely saved the dogs life. He went from a wild animal to a contolled dog in short order! I like this model because it has the light, beep, vibration, and the shock feature. My dog now responds to the light and the beep. Rarely do I use the vibration.We have noticed that just putting on the collar alone elicits prompt good behavior.

    Only worked for 2 weeks

    We were excited to begin training our hyper golden retriever with the dog shock training collar. We saw a difference in his behavior within days! However, the second week we were using it, it began to only work half of the time. I would press the shock button and nothing would happen. At that point, his behavior began to go back to how it was since the shocking wasn't consistent. By the third week, it just outright stopped working. I got so frustrated with it I just threw it in the trash. Decided it was worth spending a little more money for a better quality collar that would consistently work.
