It does so by inhibiting the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the main cause of male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness. It is costing me 7 cents a day to take this supplement. I won't know what the results are for a few months. Seller got this package to me pretty quickly. Good experience. Item was as described. A+
