    I had heard that vets give this meds to pets before surgery’s if they see a flea, so I purchased this as extra protection, we have been getting much rain, and with rain grows tall grass with fleas, so I crush it up drop a few drops of hot water on to dissolve it quicker then mix it into the cat food. I have used this for years, with the frontier plus topical flea, and tick med, and it works great.. Note it is safe, and if you do see cat still scratching after four hours, crush up another.Safe.

    The product may have worked better if it had arrived sooner

    When I noticed my cat had fleas, it was like 3 or 4, I gave her a flea bath that day and ordered this product. The seller waited so long to mail it that by the time it came she was infested and so was the house. I bought a flea collar while I waited and it did nothing to help. It finally came and I had to crush the tablets to get my cat to take them. I could tell no difference at all, I used them to the end and she is still suffering and now we have to bomb the house for the fleas. It was just a waste of money for us.

    I crush 1 Capstar tablet every 7 to 10 days and put it in food for one of my outdoor feral cats. She was infested with fleas and had bloody wounds from scratching so much. I especially do this during the hottest summer months when fleas seem to bother her the most. Since she is feral so i can't apply anything topical. It is very effective. The wounds began healing quickly and are about 90% better. Just be sure to put it in tasty food so the cat will eat it all.

    Works Great...Easy to disguise in food.

    It seems to be taking care of my cat's flea problem. I mixed the small tablet into her "gravy pleasers" can of food and she licked it right up, she never knew she took it.
